01 Our Approach to Privacy

Ligo Network LLC doing business as Ligo Launch ("Ligo Launch," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Ligo Launch platform and the Ava mobile app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and your rights regarding your data.

We collect only what we need to operate the Service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

02 What Information We Collect

Account and Profile Information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, and business address. You may optionally provide a profile photo and additional business details.

Payment Information

We collect only what is necessary to initiate payment (plan selection, billing address). Your full card number and payment credentials are processed directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. See Section 8 for more detail.

Business Data You Provide

To operate the platform on your behalf, we store data you enter or import: job records, customer names and contact information, invoices, photos, contracts, calendar events, and communications. You control what you upload.

Voice and Audio

If you use Winston voice features, we collect voice commands and, where call handling is enabled, call recordings and transcripts. See Section 5.

SMS and Call Logs

SMS messages sent and received through platform-managed numbers, and metadata about calls (timestamp, duration, direction) may be logged. Message content is stored to power conversation history and Winston call notes.

Google Calendar and Review Data

If you connect Google Calendar or Google Business Profile, we receive data from those services as described in Section 7.

Photos and Media

Photos, videos, and documents you upload are stored in secure cloud storage. We may generate thumbnails and resized versions for display purposes.

Device and Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you use the Service: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, features used, and error logs. This helps us maintain and improve the platform.

Customer Contact Data

When you import or enter customer contact information to send review requests, invoices, or communications, that data is stored within your account and used solely at your direction to operate the Service for your business.

03 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not use your business's customer data for our own marketing, advertising profiling, or to serve ads.

If Ligo Network LLC is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

05 Voice and Audio Data

On-Device Wake Word

The "Hey Winston" wake-word detection model runs entirely on your device. No audio is transmitted until the wake word is detected. After detection, your spoken command is sent to our servers and to our voice AI provider (Vapi) to generate a response. You can disable the wake word feature at any time in app settings.

Call Recordings

If call recording is enabled on your account, calls answered by Winston may be recorded and transcribed. Recordings and transcripts are stored on your account and accessible in the dashboard. You are responsible for providing any legally required disclosures to callers in your jurisdiction. You can disable recording in your account settings.

Retention

Call recordings and transcripts are retained for as long as your account is active or until you delete them. Upon account termination, recordings are deleted within 90 days unless earlier deletion is requested.

06 SMS and Calling Data

SMS messages sent and received through Ligo-managed phone numbers are stored in your account to support conversation history, Winston summaries, and job notes. We do not use the content of your business SMS conversations for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

Metadata about calls (timestamp, duration, caller ID) is logged for billing, troubleshooting, and analytics purposes.

Opt-out: Recipients of SMS messages sent through the platform can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages from your Ligo-managed number. This is enforced at the carrier level via Twilio.

07 Google Calendar and Third-Party Integrations

If you connect Google Calendar, we request access to your calendar in order to sync scheduled jobs and block availability. By default, we retrieve only free/busy time blocks — not event titles or attendees. You can optionally enable title sync in your account settings.

We store a refresh token (encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM) to maintain calendar sync without requiring you to re-authenticate frequently. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google account settings or from within the platform.

If you connect Google Business Profile, we use read access to retrieve your existing reviews for display in your dashboard. We do not post reviews or alter your Google Business Profile without your explicit action in the platform.

Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

08 Payment Information

We use Stripe, Inc. to process all subscription payments and merchant payment links. Your card number, CVV, and other payment credentials are entered directly into Stripe's secure form and are never transmitted to or stored on Ligo Launch servers.

We store only non-sensitive billing information: your name, billing address, subscription plan, and Stripe customer ID. Stripe's handling of payment data is governed by their Privacy Policy.

09 Background Check Data

If you initiate a background check on a candidate through our platform, that request is fulfilled by Checkr, Inc. The candidate's identifying information is transmitted to Checkr only after the candidate provides written authorization. Results are returned to your account and are governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). We do not retain raw background-check data beyond what is needed to display results in your account.

10 Mobile App Permissions

The Ava iOS app may request the following device permissions. All permissions are optional and can be managed in your device's Settings app.

The app includes a privacy manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy) as required by Apple. Our App Store nutrition label accurately reflects the data types described in this policy.

11 Analytics and Error Tracking

We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how the platform is used and where to improve it. Phone numbers and email addresses are hashed (SHA-256, first 16 hex characters) before any event tagging. No personally identifiable information (PII) flows into our PostHog event stream. Users who have opted out are never identified.

We use Sentry for error monitoring to detect and diagnose technical issues. Sentry may capture device metadata and stack traces; we configure it to scrub personal data from error payloads.

12 Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account cancellation, we retain your data for up to 90 days to allow you to reactivate or export before permanent deletion.

Certain data may be retained longer as required by law (e.g., billing records for tax purposes). The following automatic expirations also apply:

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

13 Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

California Residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination. 14 Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for use by adults operating a business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected].

15 Security

We implement industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including:

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you discover a security issue, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

16 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify active users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
